Drawing for raffle winnerSteve Wilson, Chairman of the Board and Richard Nichols, Board Member drawing the winning ticket for the fund raising quilt along with Judy and Michael Gibbons, museum founders on January 15, 2010 at the museum exhibit space in the “School House”, 151 NE Alder Street, Toledo. All funds go to education in the arts program of the museum. Current exhibit is “Estuary”, a show of painting studies by Michael Gibbons for the commissioned painting “Arnold Creek Estuary”, a permanent work of art for Mahonia Hall, the Oregon Governor’s official residence. The show is open to the public through the month of February on Friday afternoons and opened by request to Gallery Michael Gibbons, 140 NE Alder Street, Toledo. It wasn’t until my early twenties that inquisitiveness and crisis collided, giving birth to opportunity. At that point I could strip enough of other people’s expectations away to see clearly the path I was born for.
