Local artists in the YRMA School House for Holiday Celebration

Decorative gourd by Caroll Loomis and glass art by Larry Sommer

The public is invited to the School House and the J.P. Studio in the Legacy Arts Terrace at the Yaquina River Museum of Art, 151 NE Alder Street, Toledo for a holiday celebration.

The School House will host Toledo artists with an exhibit and sale in the newly remodeled lower floor. Larry Sommer’s fused glass creations, Caroll Grant Loomis’ decorative gourds, and handcrafted jewelry by the late Sondra Humphrey will be on display. A Christmas Cottage is set up in the Justice of the Peace Studio with gifts and vintage holiday decorations including nativity sets, centerpieces, tree ornaments, toys, wreaths and more for sale to benefit the Museum. Opening weekend is during Toledo’s Hometown Holiday on December 13 & 14 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and will continue thru the month.

The Yaquina River Museum of Art is dedicated to providing unique learning opportunities in art that are responsive to the needs of students and the community. The Museum is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Your donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
