MICHAEL GIBBONS PAINTS IN THE BERRY BOTANIC GARDEN

On October 18, 2008, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm the Berry Botanic Garden, 11505 SW Summerville Avenue, Portland, Oregon is hosting the work of Oregon artists in an upcoming event. Guests will walk through the alpine rock garden, the native plant trail, the rhododendron forest, and view the Garden of Rare Beauty and will be treated to relaxing music to enhance the visual experience.
This is an opportunity to see an array of artistic visions and interpretations of natural themes and to purchase professionally executed artwork. As part of their dedication to preserving Oregon open spaces, artists will generously donate a percentage of their sales to support the Garden and its conservation, horticulture, and education programs.
Internationally known artist, Michael Gibbons, will be painting on the grounds along with other Oegon landscape painters. Gibbons works exclusively in oil preferring to paint a la prima. Endorsements include:
